Yes, UPI on Credit Card facility is available on FIRST Power and FIRST Power+ Credit Cards. You can now scan any UPI enabled QR code and pay using FIRST Power/ FIRST Power+ Credit Card.
You just have to ensure that you have linked your IDFC FIRST Bank FIRST Power / FIRST Power+ Credit Card to the UPI app being used by you. UPI apps BHIM, PhonPe, PayTm, Gpay, Freecharge, Slice, Cred & Mobikwik are currently available for this facility.
You can use the FIRST Power and FIRST Power+ like any other credit card. These cards get you extra savings on HPCL fuel payments, grocery & utility and other everyday expenses.
You can apply for FIRST Power / FIRST Power+ Credit Card, if you meet the eligibility criteria below*:
• You must be at least 21 years old
• You must be an Indian citizen
• You must have a healthy credit score
• Your credit usage ratio must be within an acceptable level
• You must have an Annual Income of ₹3 lacs or more

You will be eligible to apply only for FIRST Power+ credit card if you already hold any of IDFC FIRST Bank Credit Cards.
However the credit limit is shared with all of your existing IDFC FIRST Bank Credit Cards if any.
A separate statement will be generated for your new credit card as per the applicable statement date. Please ensure to make the payment as per the statement.
You can apply for the HPCL Fuel Credit Card on IDFC FIRST Bank website and Mobile Banking App or on HPCL website, online. You can also visit your nearby IDFC FIRST Bank branch and apply.
The HPCL Fuel Credit Card has two variants – FIRST Power and FIRST Power+. You can opt for any one of these variants, depending on your needs.
With the FIRST Power Credit Card, for every ₹150 spent, you earn 21X Reward Points on HPCL Fuel, Grocery & Utility and IDFC FASTag recharge and 2X Reward Points on other retail transactions, subject to terms & conditions. With the FIRST Power+ Credit Card, for every ₹150 spent, you earn 30X Reward Points on HPCL Fuel, 30X Reward Points on Grocery & Utility and IDFC FASTag recharge and 3X Reward Points on other retail transactions, subject to terms & conditions. Additionally, on both these variants, you also earn 6 Payback Reward Points for every ₹100 fuelling through HP Pay App.
You need to register on HP Pay (App or Portal) first. You can upload the wallet on HP Pay using FIRST Power / FIRST Power+ credit card. You earn 3 Payback Rewards on loading the wallet and 3 Payback Rewards at the time of payment at the HP outlet. The Payback Rewards are capped at 300 points per month which is equivalent to fueling of INR 5,000 every month. You can check your Payback balance in HP Pay Mobile App itself.These rewards are not applicable if you directly make the fuel payment using HP Pay App without loading the wallet.
Fuel is not cheaper with a Fuel Card. However, the spends done on fuel with a Fuel Card brings savings through accelerated Reward Points. With the FIRST Power and FIRST Power+ Credit Cards, you can earn 21X and 30X Reward Points on fuel spends done at HPCL outlets.

Yes, ₹500 cashback on 1st HPCL fuel transaction of ₹500 or above done within 30 days of card generation is applicable for FIRST Power+ & ₹250 cashback on 1st HPCL fuel transaction of ₹250 or above done within 30 days of card generation is applicable for FIRST Power. Joining offer will only be applicable for cardholders who have paid the joining fee in full.
Currently, you can link your FIRST Power & Power+ Credit Card on select UPI applications such as – BHIM, PhonePe, PayTm, Gpay, Freecharge, Slice, Cred & Mobikwik.
Please select the IDFC FIRST Bank Credit Card from the linked credit card accounts, select set UPI Pin option from the dropdown. Enter last 6 digits of your FIRST Power/ Power+ Credit Card number, enter the expiry date, follow steps to complete the journey.
Once you have linked your FIRST Power or Power+ Credit Card on your preferred UPI app, click on ‘Scan’ to scan QR code, enter the amount, select FIRST Power/Power+ Credit Card from dropdown menu and authenticate your payment using UPI PIN. One the payment is completed, payment confirmation will be displayed
Yes, you can change the UPI pin of your FIRST Power or Power+ Credit Card account by selecting ‘Change UPI PIN’ option present on your UPI applications.
Update your new mobile number on your FIRST Power or Power+ Credit Card account. Once updated, re-register the credit card on your preferred UPI apps.
No, only payments to merchant (P2M) will be allowed from the linked FIRST Power or Power+ Credit Card.
Categories – P2P (peer-to-peer), P2PM (peer-to-peer-merchant) digital account opening, lending platform, cash withdrawal at merchant, cash withdrawal at ATM, e-RUPI, IPO, Foreign Inward Remittances, Mutual Funds and any other categories as restricted by National Payment Corporation Of India (NPCI).
Yes, Credit Card bill payment can be done through the linked savings account from the UPI App. For recurring bill payments, you can register for UPI AutoPay
Currently, only IDFC FIRST Bank Credit Cards powered by RuPay can be linked on UPI.
The amount limit per card can be up to ₹1 lakh per day and ₹2 lakh for some special MCC codes, however it will be subject to the available credit limit on your card. Please note that the amount limit per day per card is ₹5,000 for the first 24 hours of linking the card on your preferred UPI app.
No, you will not be charged on linking or carrying out any transaction from the linked Credit Card on UPI.
