Account Aggregator (AA) is an RBI-regulated entity that consolidates and securely exchanges your financial data from multiple sources like banks, insurance and mutual funds. It gives you a complete overview of your finances, empowering better decisions, while ensuring privacy and consent-based data sharing. The IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile App uses the Account Aggregator to let you seamlessly track your finances in one place.
When you consent to share your information with an Account Aggregator (AA), it collects your digital financial data from one or more accounts and delivers it to the financial institution that offers you with services like loans and insurance. The AA framework can be easily adopted into different products and offerings like business loans or personal insurance, thereby meeting both individual and business needs.

This feature connects all your savings bank accounts and demat accounts in one place, providing a personalised dashboard to view your bank balances, transactions and stocks portfolio within the IDFC App.
IDFC First Bank has partnered with Anumati, an RBI-regulated Account Aggregator, to power this feature.
Account Aggregator is an RBI-regulated entity that allows simple and secure exchange of financial data between financial Institutions such as banks, depositories, insurance agencies. This information cannot be shared without the user's explicit consent. As per RBI’s mandate, data shared via the AA is encrypted end-to-end and can only be viewed by the user on the consented app. Further, you can securely disconnect your account any time.
You can disconnect any/all your connected accounts at any time. Once disconnected, all associated financial data will be deleted. Also, no new data will be fetched from the disconnected accounts.
Connecting all your accounts will help you streamline financial management by consolidating all your accounts in a single view, helping you know your money better and make informed financial decisions. It also ensures secure data sharing and simplifies processes like loan approval. With this feature, you will now be able to–
1) Monitor all your bank accounts in one app.
2) Track your stock portfolio value and performance without opening multiple apps.
3) View a consolidated statement with categorised transactions to indicate your spending pattern.
4) Get personalised insights to save money.
We are currently supporting the following entities:
• Savings Accounts - HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Bank, SBI, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, PNB, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, IndusInd bank, Yes Bank, Indian Bank, Federal Bank, Karnataka Bank.
• Demat Accounts – NSDL, CDSL
Only accounts of these banks/entities will be fetched in the linking journey. We are continuously working towards adding more banks/entities to this list and will notify you once more entities are available for linkage.
If you are unable to view your accounts that are part of the supported banks/entities, it might be due to the following reasons:
1. The bank/entity you are searching for is linked to a different mobile number.
2. Your bank’s server might be experiencing downtime. Please retry after some time.
3. The account is a joint account. The account aggregator framework does not support joint accounts yet. We will notify you once the option to link joint accounts is made available.
4. If none of the above, we request you to try again after some time.
Yes, all the Account Aggregator features are free of charge.
Your data shared via Account Aggregator is encrypted end-to-end and cannot be used by any entity without your explicit consent, keeping you in complete control of your data. As a leading bank, we adhere to industry-leading security protocols laid down by the RBI. Moreover, you can revoke your consent at any point of time.
