Swachh Worli Koliwada
IDFC FIRST Bank in partnership with G5A Foundation for Contemporary Culture and Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai launched project ‘Swachh Worli Koliwada’ in 2018 with an aim to create awareness and bring about behavior change about community driven solid waste management practices and segregation at source through a participatory process within the Worli Koliwada community. This program is expected to touch the lives of 35000 residents spread across 65 acres of Worli Koliwada community.
|"Project Swachh Worli Koliwada will prove to be very beneficial for the residents of Worli Koliwada. Nowadays, because of plastic there is a lot of dirt, not to mention the impact it has on marine life and our fishing trade. A reason why this project by the G5A Foundation for Contemporary Culture and IDFC FIRST Bank is timely, important and has our full support. Awareness will play a huge role to make this project a success and we are wholly committed to doing our bit." |
