IDFC FIRST Bank in partnership with Animedh Charitable Trust, supports a three-month vocational training program called ‘Saksham’ for women from low-income communities in Mumbai to empower them with tailoring skills that allows them to work from home or in a garment factory and earn a livelihood. Average increase in their income due to this: ₹ 48000.00 p.a.
IDFC FIRST Bank in partnership with ETASHA Society, works with women from low income communities and trains them to become successful entrepreneurs. This program imparts necessary life-skills and entrepreneurship skills to start, run and manage micro enterprises. Average increase in their income due to this: ₹ 84000 p.a
IDFC FIRST Bank in partnership with Bubbles Centre for Autism, provides scholarships to young adults with autism and other intellectual disabilities and supports their special education in Bangalore. This programme provides financial aid to students from low-income groups to cover a part of their education fee of early intervention.
IDFC FIRST Bank in partnership with SAMPARC, works with youth from low income communities to train them in Industrial Training Institute courses thereby making them employable. This programme imparts necessary theoretical and practical knowledge and skills to kick start their career as a Welder, Electrician and other industrial workers.
IDFC FIRST Bank in partnership with Pune City Connect, supports skills training program called ‘Lighthouse’ for youth from low-income communities of Pune to empower them with vocational skills of their choice thereby making them employable. The program begins with a 20-day foundation course followed by one-to-one counselling and skills training in the youth’s preferred vocation which is then followed by placement support.
