Follow these easy steps to make your online tax payments:
1. Select the applicable challan (ITNS 280, 281, 282 and 283).
2. Fill in your tax payment details and confirm.
3. You will be directed to the IDFC FIRST Bank net banking login page. Enter your login ID and password to log into your account and pay your taxes.
4. Once completed, you will receive a transaction reference number as proof of payment. The amount will only be debited from your account once the transaction is fully approved.
An email with your Challan Identification Number, (CIN), will be sent to you within 2 working days after the tax payment.
Kindly note: your 10-digit PAN/TAN number is essential to make your online tax payment. The bank will reject payments with incorrect PAN/TAN details. You may verify your PAN/TAN details on the following websites:
