  6. I am holding my bonds in demat mode and my address/bank account details have changed, how should I get these changed in your records ?


    For holders of Bonds in demat mode
    , address and bank account details are taken from the demat accounts. Hence, kindly approach your Depository Participant (DP) where you have your Demat Account for making the necessary changes.

  7. I am holding my bonds in physical mode and my address/bank account details have changed, how should I get these changed in your records?


    Bonds in physical mode

    For change in bank account:

    1. Request letter (as per Format-I below)

    2. Attach cancelled cheque or photocopy of cheque of the new bank account.
    3. (a & b) above to be send to Registrar/ KFin Technologies Pvt. Ltd on their aforesaid address (Sl. No.2 above)

    For change of address:

    1. Request letter (as per Format-II below)

    2. Self-attested copy of new address proof of any one of the below viz:
      • Voters' ID
      • Passport
      • Aadhaar Card
      • Latest* bank statement/ passbook

  8. I want to add/change nominee, what is the procedure?


    Please fill in the Nomination Form attached below, sign it and send to the  Registrar/ KFin Technologies Pvt. Ltd on their aforesaid address (Sl. No.2 above)

Attach Original Allotment Advice/Bond Certificate.We/Registrar on receipt of documents i & ii above cross verify the same with initial application and if the error/mistake happened at our (IDFC FIRST Bank/Registrar) end, you will be issued a rectified/fresh Allotment Advice/Bond Certificate if not then you will be intimated to furnish any one of the documents listed below (iii)

    4. Self attested photocopy of either one of the below documents viz.,

      • Latest* bank statement/ passbook.

      After due verification of the above(iii), rectifications will be carried out and a fresh/corrected Allotment Advice/Bond Certificate(s) will be issued.

  9. I have received allotment advice/bond certificate, but there is/are mistake(s) in first holders’ name/surname/nominee name. What is the procedure to rectify the same?


    The allotment advice / bond certificate(s) of all IDFC FIRST Bank Infra bond issues have been dispatched to investors.

    In case you have not received the allotment advice /  bond certificate, kindly write (as per Format-V below) to the Registrar i.e  KFin Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

    For Bond Certificate : Based on your letter (Format V above), Registrar (KFin Technology) will check on postal returns of bond certificates at their end and if found, verifies signature(s) and PAN details as provided in your said letter and resend the Certificate to you.  If not found, the Registrar will inform the same to you and you will have to follow the procedure as per Serial No.10 (Your Question) below

    For Allotment Advice: After due verification of your details as provided by you per Format V with the data registered with us, we will issue an allotment advice.

  10. The validity of Interest Warrant has expired. Please let me know the procedure for revalidation.


    Please return the original Interest Warrant along with a revalidation request (as per Format VI)  and send it to the Registrar i.e KFin Technologies Pvt. Ltd for issuing  a fresh warrant/Demand Draft.

  11. I have lost my Bond Certificate. How can I get a duplicate certificate?


    Step 1:

    Please write to Registrar (as per Format VII-A). Upon verifying your said letter/claim the Company/ Registrar will inform you to execute an Indemnity Bond and provide supporting proof for proceeding further.

    Step 2:
    For lost Bond Certificate: A duplicate bond certificate(s) would be issued subject to, investor submitting an Indemnity <Format VII – Indemnity> executed on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.100/- alongwith a copy of the self attested PAN copy and the same be sent to the Registrar ( KFin Technologies Pvt. Ltd).

  12. I have lost the interest warrant. How can I get a duplicate warrant?


    Step 1:

    Please write to Registrar (as per Format VIII-A).  Upon verifying your said letter/claim the Company/ Registrar will inform you to execute an Indemnity Bond for proceeding further.

    For lost Interest warrant: A  duplicate warrant may be issued subject to, investor submitting a Letter of Indemnity <Format VIII – Indemnity>on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.100/- and send it to the Registrar.

  13. I want to transfer the allotted bonds from my existing demat account to another demat account (holder being same) and during the lock-in period. What should I do?


    During the 5-year lock-in period from the deemed date of allotment, these bonds are not transferable. But, if the beneficial owners of both the demat accounts are one and the same, this can be done by corporate action at the end of IDFC FIRST Bank (the issuer). For this purpose, you are required to provide your request to your DP (where your bonds are currently held), who will take further necessary steps for it. Applicable fees of NSDL/CDSL shall be payable by the holder.

  14. The Bond holder expired and the bond does not have a nominee.  What is the procedure for the legal heirs to claim the bond proceeds?

  15. The first/second holder of the bond has expired. How can the bonds be transferred either of the case or to the nominee?

    For bondholders holding the bonds in physical form, either of the survivor submit the following documents to the Registrar
    i.e  KFin Technologies Pvt. Ltd

    • Original Bond Certificate
    • Request letter duly signed by the surviving bond holder (First or Second as the case may be)
    • Format IX - Intimation of bondholder demise.pdf

    • Photo identity proof viz passport /driving license/pan card/Voter’s ID card duly self attested
    • Self Attested copy of Address Proof
    • Attested true copy of death certificate by Bank Manager/Gazette officer.
  16. The Bond is in demat mode and the holder has expired.  What is the procedure to transfer it to the legal heir / nominee.


    Kindly approach the respective Depository Participant (DP) and follow their procedures.
