Verified by Visa is a new service offered by IDFC FIRST Bank, which provides payment transaction security. Using this process, we have ensured that a security passcode is sent your registered mobile number for every ecommerce transaction that is done using your debit card.
All our customers are eligible to use this service on various merchant sites and there is never going to be a separate registration for this ever!
How this entire process works:
1. Every time your IDFC FIRST Bank Debit Card is used to do an e-commerce transaction, intimation of the transaction is sent to us.
2. We trigger a payment security code to the mobile number linked to your Debit card (your account).
3. That passcode needs to be entered on our secure the online payment page.
4. Once the same is verified by our system the transaction is deemed genuine and it goes through successfully while giving your payment security.
This not only gives you the power to proceed with the transaction but can also alert in case of any mishaps on your card.
Ecommerce via Debit card + PIN
Our Debit Card lets you to shop online seamlessly at select e-commerce merchant websites at your convenience. There is utmost online payment security in place to keep it safe and secure from mishaps. We offer you a hassle-free online shopping experience, without the need to generate a security passcode (OTP) or remember your VbyV password.
Steps to shop online:
1. Go to the merchant’s website, example indianterrain.com
2. Select the product you wish to purchase
3. In the “Payment” screen, select “Debit Card + PIN” as the payment option
4. Select IDFC FIRST Bank
5. Enter your Debit Card Number, Expiry Date & PIN
6. Confirm the transaction
7. And your payment is done
