    What is the minimum account balance required to be maintained monthly in the IDFC FIRST Bank Savings Account?

    IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile Banking App is FREE of charge. However, your mobile operator may levy charges for mobile internet. Please check with your operator for details.

    How to login to the Mobile Banking App?

    If you are an existing Internet Banking user, you can login with the same Username and Password used for Internet Banking. If you are not an existing user, you can register on Mobile Banking App itself. Just follow the below steps:

    • Open the App
    • Click on Create Username
    • Enter your customer ID (sent in the welcome kit) and Account number
    • Create your Password to login
    • Use the same Username and Password to login to Mobile Banking App and Internet Banking.

    Is the IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile Banking App secure?

    Yes, the App is secure as no information is stored on your mobile phone or SIM card. So even if your phone is lost or stolen, your account is safe.

    Any number of users can use this App on the same handset

    Can I access my IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile Banking App when I am on overseas/national roaming?

    Yes, as long as you are connected to the internet on your mobile phone you can access the App.

    What if I get disconnected or my mobile phone switches off when I am logged in?

    You automatically get logged out and then after your handset is switched on, you can log in and start transacting once again.

    What if I get an SMS or a call while on IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile App?

    You can still answer the call or read the SMS while IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile App continues to run in the background

    What if I want to change my mobile phone device?

    In case you want to use the IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile Banking App on your new device, you will have to re-download the App on your new handset. Follow the set of download instructions for this and continue banking.

    What if I change my mobile number?

    You can still access your account using IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile Banking App on your phone. However, in case of a new handset you need to re-download IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile Banking App. Please make sure your new number is updated in the Bank records as the One Time Password (OTP) for certain transactions will be sent on that number.

    Are there any charges and transaction limits to the transactions I can perform on IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile Banking App?

    No, there are no charges for transactions done using the IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile Banking App. However, the daily limit for Funds Transfer of Rs. 20 Lakhs per customer ID does apply.

    When will the transaction request placed on IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile Banking App get executed?

    Any transaction request placed on your IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile Banking App will take the same amount of time as it would on IDFC FIRST Bank Internet Banking.

    How do I log out of the Mobile Banking App?

    In the Menu, scroll to the bottom, there is an option called ‘Logout’. Click on the option to logout of the Mobile Banking App

    Can I access Mobile Banking App if I have not registered for Internet Banking?

    Yes, but you will have to register for the same through the App. Please refer the Steps mentioned in question "How to login to mobile banking app" .

    Is this service available 24x7?

    Yes, you can access the Mobile Banking App anytime and anywhere you want as long as you are connected to the mobile Internet or Wi-Fi.

    How do I terminate this service?

    To terminate this service, just delete the App from your mobile handset.

    What do I do if I lose my mobile phone?

    Nothing will happen even if you lose your phone as you need a password to use this App

    Which customers can use IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile Banking App?

    All customers having a Savings or Current Account with IDFC FIRST Bank can use this App

    Setting up your MPIN

    It is as simple as it can get, And it’s faster, takes less than a minute.

    • On the login screen just click on “MPIN”
    • Click on “Setup MPIN”
    • Enter your Internet Banking Username and Password
    • Verify your mobile number by entering the OTP
    • Enter the 4-digit MPIN you wish to use…
    • And you are all done

    Hope you are creative enough to not enter the same digits like 1111, 2222, etc. by the way it is also for your own safety.

    My MPIN has got blocked what should I do?

    This means that you tried entering incorrect MPIN 5 times. We can’t let you go on forever.



    Don't worry though, this does not mean you will never get access, just click on "Forgot MPIN" to regenerate or use the option of logging in with your Internet Banking Username and Password.

    Is this facility available on both Internet Banking and Mobile App

    Yes, this facility is available on both Internet Banking and Mobile App.

    How is this feature beneficial to me?

    To transfer funds into your account, you need not go through the trouble of adding beneficiary and to know your IDFC FIRST Bank Account number and IFSC details etc.

    Neither you have to issue a cheque or deposit it in your bank.

    Simply login to your IDFC FIRST bank account and pull funds instantly. It is seamless and frictionless.

    My other bank account is debited, but my IDFC FIRST bank account is not credited yet?

    In case of technical failures, basis the existing reconciliation process, the credit will be posted into your account within 3-4 working days.


    In case the transaction has been failed by other bank, then the same will be refunded back to you by other bank itself as per their processes.

    Can I set my entire ATM withdrawal or purchase limit for international usage only?

    Yes, you can.

    What is this Add funds feature all about?

    Add funds to your account’, allows users to conveniently pull funds for any other bank account and transfer into their own IDFC Bank savings account.

    It is similar to how a person does a E Commerce transaction on Amazon, Flipkart etc when post inputting an amount, they select the Bank name through Payment Gateway (PG) and select the Bank of their choice to complete the transaction

    What are the charges associated with this feature?

    There are no charges associated with this. This a completely free service.

    Can I pull in any amount from other bank?

    Minimum transfer in amount is INR 1000 and there is no maximum limit. The limit is directly dependent on the Internet Banking, Mobile Banking Funds transfer limits set of the remitting bank. Or the Bank from where the funds are being pulled.

    What are the prerequisites /formalities to avail of this service?

    All you need is access to your IDFC First Bank’s Mobile App service in order to avail of this service. Additionally, you need to have access to NetBanking credentials of other bank so as to online transfer funds.
