When is my next EMI due? How do I view its status?

As our loan customer, once you register for banking on WhatsApp, you can view these details by typing '1' in the chat window. 'Loan and EMI' details will also display your last EMI paid and outstanding EMI.

I have fully paid my loan. Then, why does my ‘Loan Status’ show as ‘Active’?

If you have fully paid your outstanding loan amount, but the account’s status is still active, please download the Statement of Account (SOA) on WhatsApp. Please check your SOA for any due charges. This could be why your account is not closed. Once you pay all due charges, your loan account will close.

How do I check my Easy Buy Card’s status? How do I view its limit?

As our consumer durable loan customer, you can check the status of your Easy Buy Card (EBC) by typing '2' in the chat window, for 'Easy Buy Card details'. Here, you will find its unutilised limit amount and status, which could be ‘blocked’ or ‘active’.

As a minor’s guardian, will I be able to check the account details of a minor account?

Yes, with WhatsApp for banking, you can check a minor’s bank account details if your registered phone number is mapped to the Minor Account.

How do I know if a ‘Stop Cheque’, ‘Cheque Book’ or ‘Block Card’ request raised by me on WhatsApp is processed?

You will receive an SMS confirmation once the request is executed. Please note: Stop Cheque and Block Card are immediate service requests.

Are WhatsApp banking services chargeable?

No, there are no additional charges for using WhatsApp banking. However, existing charges are applicable for service requests as per the schedule of charges.
