FASTag, as part of the National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) programme, allows you to make instant toll payments so you don't waste time at a toll line. It uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology via a chip attached to a windshield sticker to make automatic payments at toll plazas. This is done through a linked prepaid account or wallet. You can also use your FASTag to make fuel and parking payments at select locations.

IDFC FIRST Bank offers FIRSTForward FASTag services to customers through which you can also check your FASTag balance and recharge it online using a debit card, credit card, United Payment Interface (UPI), or the net banking facility. You can also set up an auto FASTag recharge, ensuring your account is always adequately funded.

This article presents a step-by-step guide on FASTag recharge through IDFC FIRST Bank to help you make hassle-free toll payments.
