Entrepreneurship & Livelihood

Our livelihood development programs are designed to improve the quality of life of the underserved and marginalized by providing them with equal opportunities and skills to help them constructively contribute to their communities. We also have a focus on fostering entrepreneurship in rural and urban communities, especially amongst women.

I joined the Shwetdhara program as the Program Manager in Sep'19. The program focusses on rural women and marginal dairy farmers and covers all aspects of dairy farming to increase their income and reduce input cost. These rural women entrepreneurs known in the village as Gram Sakhi

Only daughter to her mother who is a domestic help in Virar , Ilavani Rayon’s father died when she was young. She has a brother who does not support her family. With the support of stipend given by IDFC FIRST Bank she helps her mother and supports her family and is very happy and confident now.

I belong to schedule cast community. My father left us, my mother is the sole breadwinner of the family.
