• Based on consent received, as a service gesture the Bank may approve certain transactions attempted by the cardholder which are over and above the credit limit. Please note that if the outstanding amount exceeds the credit limit, an over-limit fee of 2.5 % of the over-limit amount or Rs. 550, whichever is higher will be levied.
• Provision of Over-limit facility will be at the Bank’s discretion and as per Bank policy.
• Over-limit fees will also be levied at every subsequent instance of billing cycle where the outstanding amount exceeds the credit limit

What is over-limit facility?
• Bank may approve certain transactions attempted by the Cardmember above the set credit limit basis the consent provided for availing Over-limit facility.
• The over-limit facility is of use to the cardholder in scenarios where the existing credit limit is already utilized or exhausted.
• Over-limit facility acts as a top-up limit on your existing assigned credit limit.
What are the Charges applicable?
• An Over-limit fee/charge of 2.5% of the Over-limit amount will be charged subject to a minimum of Rs.550.
• Over-Limit facility is not available on FIRST WOW!, FIRST EA₹N, FIRST Corporate, FIRST Business & FIRST Purchase Credit Card.
What happens if I opt-out/disable the over-limit facility on my card?
• Any transaction which is above the credit limit will be declined by the bank.
How to opt-out/ disable Over-limit facility?
• You can opt-out/disable the over-limit facility on your card account by calling our customer care at 1800 10 888 or through your mobile app.
How to opt-in/enable Over-limit facility?
• If you are eligible you will receive a communication from the bank to enable the over-limit facility and record your consent.
When will the over-limit facility opt-in/enable or opt-out/disable reflect on my card accounts?
• Your choice to either opt-in/enable or opt-out/disable the Over-limit facility shall reflect on your card account within 72 hours of recording your choice.
