Definitions:

1. ‘Add-on Card’ means an additional Card issued to a person nominated by the Primary Card-member.
2. ‘Primary Card-member’ or ‘Card-member’ shall mean and include the Applicant and/ or authorized Card-member.
3. ‘Add-on Card-member’ means a person to whom the Add-on Card is issued and the liability for payment of dues thereunder is of the Primary Card-member.
4. ‘Applicant’ shall mean person(s) who has/ have applied for a Credit Card with IDFC FIRST BANK Limited.
5. ‘Application’ shall mean an application for a credit/ charge Card by the applicant or Card-member to IDFC FIRST BANK Limited through various modes of applying, including but not limited to, duly signed and filled physical Card application form, tele-application (over a recorded phone line) and electronic medium (Internet/ email).
6. ‘Bank’ or ‘IDFC FIRST Bank’ shall mean IDFC FIRST BANK Limited, a company registered under the Companies Act, 2013 and a Banking Company within the meaning of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 having its Registered Office at KRM Tower, 8th Floor, No: 1, Harrington Road, Chetpet, Chennai – 600031.

8. ‘Card Account/ Credit Card Account’ means any eligible account(s) opened and maintained by the bank for operations through the use of the Card, simultaneously with issuance of the Card.
9. ‘Card’ or ‘Credit Card’ or ‘IDFC FIRST Credit Card’ or ‘International Card’ shall mean a MasterCard/ Visa Card or any other card, issued by IDFC FIRST BANK Limited to Card-member on his/her request.
10. ‘Card-member’ shall mean and include the applicant and/ or authorized Card-member and/ or Additional Card-member.
11. ‘International Transaction/ Usage’ means transaction at Overseas Merchant Outlets, Overseas ATM, or on websites originating outside India.
12. ‘OTP’ shall mean One Time Password.
13. ‘Balance Transfer’ is a facility that allows Card-member to transfer the outstanding balance of other bank credit card(s) to their IDFC FIRST BANK Limited Credit Card.
14. “Offer Period" shall mean the period commencing from Nov 25, 2021 to Feb 28, 2023, both days inclusive
15. "Offer" shall mean:
    Primary Card-member will earn cashback equal to the amount spent on the first transaction done via Add-on Card within 30 days of Add-on card setup. This cashback will be capped at a maximum of Rs.500.
16. Use of the terms ‘him’, ‘he’, ‘she’, ‘his’, ‘her’ or similar pronouns shall, where the context so admits, mean the ‘Card-member’.

Offer:

• The program is valid for the IDFC FIRST BANK Limited Credit Cardholder/s only and shall be valid and subsisting during the Offer Period, unless otherwise notified by IDFC FIRST BANK Limited.
• Primary Card-member will earn cashback equal to the amount spent on the first transaction done via Add-on Card within 30 days of Add-on card setup. This cashback will be capped at a maximum of Rs.500.
• The Offer will be applicable once per add-on card
• The cashback will be credited to the Card Account of Primary Card-member within 30 days of the eligible transaction done on the Add-on Card
• If the Primary Card-member ceases to be a Cardholder, at any time during the Offer Period, all the benefits under the program shall lapse and shall no more be available to such Cardholder
• Cashback will not be credited to Card Accounts that are identified as delinquent or cancelled at the time of cashback posting.
• Add-on cards issued to other existing Primary Card holders, will not be eligible for the Offer
• If multiple Add-on cards are issued to other existing Add-on Card-members of the same or different Primary Card, in that case, only the first Add-on Card issued will be considered eligible for the Offer

Other Terms and Conditions:

1. A Card Account may have multiple Additional Cards, the number to be determined at the sole discretion of the Bank. The Additional Card-member must be an Indian resident above the age of 18 years, and must be related to the Primary Card-member by virtue of being parent, spouse, children, siblings (brothers & sisters).
2. A Primary Card-member will not be permitted to apply for an Add-on Card for self.
3. A Primary Card-member will not be permitted to apply for an Add-on card to be issued to any other cardholder of the Bank who is (a) already holding a Primary card OR (b) already holding an add-on card issued under another primary card account.
4. Upon receipt of Card-member’s request/ authorization, the Bank at its sole discretion, may issue Additional Card to the Additional Card-member.
5. The holder of any additional Credit Card and the Primary Card-member authorizing its issuance are jointly and severally bound by the Terms and Conditions and the Primary Card-member will be solely responsible, for all charges incurred by the Additional Card-member.
6. It is the responsibility of the Primary Card-member to ensure that all information and/ or documents required as per the relevant regulations and policies and as may be prescribed by the Bank pertaining to the Additional Card-member(s) are furnished to the Bank in a timely manner.
7. The Credit and Cash Withdrawal Limit applicable on Card-member’s Card Account is inclusive of all the Add-on cards
8. From time to time IDFC FIRST BANK Limited communicates various products/features/ promotional offers which offer significant benefits to its Card-members and may use the services of third party agencies to do so. IDFC FIRST BANK Limited may accordingly contact or send communication to the Primary Card-member and Additional Card-member related to the application and related Card services. If the Card-member does not wish to receive any direct marketing, SMS, Emails or telephone calls from IDFC FIRST BANK Limited for such services, the Card-member may call 24-Hour helpline and inform the Bank. Alternatively, Card-member could log on to the Bank’s website and register for the ‘Do Not Disturb’ service. The Card-member will continue to receive communication pertaining to the core features of the Credit Card.
9. Without prejudice to the joint & several repayment obligations of the outstanding dues on the Credit Card by the Primary Credit Card-member and/ or Additional Card-member, it is acknowledged and accepted that there shall be no commingling in usage of Credit Card facility i.e.:
   • Primary Card-member shall not assign/ transfer or permit usage of the Credit Card standing in his/her name to the additional Card-member or to any other person/ third-party and,
   • The Additional Card-member shall not assign/ transfer or permit usage of the Credit Card standing in his/her name to the Primary Card-member or to any other person/third-party. In the event of any breach committed by the Primary/ Additional Card-member, such contrary actions would constitute the same to be misuse of the Credit Card at the sole/ joint risk & peril of the Primary/ Additional Card-member(s) and the Bank shall not be liable for the same.
10. Card-member may withdraw the facility of Additional Card by informing the Bank.
11. The facility of an Additional Card will stand terminated in case of termination of Card-membership of the Primary Card-member. The liability of the Additional Card-member for payments to the Bank is joint and several with the Primary Card-member.
12. Primary Card-member is liable to the Bank for all Charges on the Primary Credit Card and all Add-on Credit Cards issued at Card-member’s request and Primary Card-member agrees that all Add-on Cards will be used in a manner consistent with these Terms and Conditions.
13. All Add-on Credit Card-members agree to use each Add-on Credit Card bearing respective Add-on Card-member’s name in a manner consistent with these Terms and Conditions.
14. All communications sent or given to the Primary Credit Card-member or the Add-on Credit Card-member shall be deemed to have been sent or given to both.
15. OTP for transaction initiated on Add-On card shall be delivered on the Add-On Card mobile number registered with the Bank.
16. Primary card if cancelled then the linked Add-On card also stands cancelled
17. The death or in capacitance of a Card-member shall automatically cancel the Credit Card issued to the Card-member as well as to any Add-on Card-members
18. The Card-member will be liable for all losses in case of misuse of the Card by someone who obtained the PIN or the Card with the consent of Card-member or Add-on Card-member
19. The Card-member will be liable for all losses in case of misuse of the Card by someone who obtained the PIN or the Card with the consent of Card-member or Add-on Card-member. If the Card-member has acted fraudulently, the Card-member will be liable for all losses. If the Card-member acts without reasonable care, the Card-member may be liable for all losses incurred.
20. Purchases on the Add-on Credit Cards will also accrue Reward Points. However, these Reward Points can be redeemed only by the Primary Card-member.
21. All EMI requests on Add-on card transactions can be raised only by Primary Card-Member and will be billed to the Primary Card account. Such requests shall be binding upon the Primary Card-member and the Primary and Add-On Card-member shall be jointly and severally liable for the transaction and for availing of this facility.
22. The Balance Transfer facility is not applicable for Add-On card.
23. Add-On Card-member is bound by the Terms & Conditions of the Card-member Agreement already established with the Primary Card-member
24. Add-On Card and any related communication will be sent on the registered Address, Email and Mobile Number of the Add-On Card-member
25. I hereby apply for IDFC FIRST Bank Credit Card(s) and accept that IDFC FIRST Bank is entitled in its absolute discretion to accept or reject this application.
26. Mailing address of Add-On applicant needs to be the same as that of Primary Applicant’s mailing address
27. Primary Card-member will be liable for payment towards all the charges against issuance of the Add-On Card(s) issued on the Account
28. All Fees and charges applicable can be referred to in the Most Important Terms & Conditions
29. Add-on Cards applied along with the Primary Cards held by Card-member will also be duly reported to Credit Information Companies authorized by RBI with same credit credentials as that of the Primary
30. Maximum of 03 Add-On Cards can be issued for every eligible Primary Card

Only the privileges applicable on the Primary Card if active, as mentioned above, will be shared with the Add-On Card-member unless communicated otherwise by IDFC FIRST BANK Limited.

32. IDFC FIRST BANK Limited reserves the right to change the features/benefits of the Add-On Card without any notice and without giving a reason whatsoever
33. Primary Card should meet criteria of IDFC FIRST BANK Limited internal policies for Add-On to be issued.
34. IDFC FIRST BANK Limited reserves the right to decline the application for Add-On Card without giving a reason whatsoever
35. IDFC FIRST BANK Limited reserves the right to deactivate, block Add-On Card without any notice and without giving a reason whatsoever

37. Add-On Card-members can manage their IDFC FIRST BANK Limited credit card transactions using the Manage Cards section of the IDFC FIRST BANK Limited website and IDFC FIRST BANK Limited Mobile App.

6. I hereby nominate the same person who is nominee for my Savings Bank Account, and I hereby nominate same person mentioned herein as my nominee/nominee(s) to receive all the amounts of the said linked fixed deposit of IDFC FIRST EA₹N Credit Card, in the event of my death.

8. I hereby undertake to abide by the Terms and Conditions communicated on https://www.idfcfirstbank.com/terms-and-conditions.html for fixed deposit(s) linked to IDFC FIRST EA₹N Credit Card.
9. I confirm that I have no insolvency proceedings pending against me nor have I ever been adjudicated insolvent.
10. I authorise IDFC FIRST Bank and/or its associates to verify any information or otherwise at my office/residence or to contact me/ credit bureau/RBI or any other source to obtain or provide any information that may be required for confirming credit card application or maintaining my account in good credit standing.
11. I hereby give my consent to IDFC FIRST Bank Limited for obtaining/authenticating/verifying my KYC details from CERSAI CKYC portal/ Aadhaar eKYC/ National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL)/ Any other service provider/ organisation as deemed fit by IDFC FIRST Bank Limited and permitted by Reserve Bank of India. I understand that as per directions of Government of India my KYC information will be updated by the bank in Central KYC Registry.
12. I understand that International Credit Cards issued to NRI Card members cannot be used on internet or otherwise for purchase of prohibited items, like lottery tickets, banned or proscribed magazines, participation in sweepstakes, payment for call-back services, carrying out agricultural/plantation/real estate business, trade in transferable development rights and / or such items / activities for which no drawal of foreign exchange is permitted.
13. I authorize IDFC FIRST Bank for creating a virtual payment address (vpa) linked to IDFC FIRST Bank Credit Card on IDFC FIRST Bank mobile application.
14. I understand that Credit Cards cannot be used as a medium of payment towards foreign investment. This shall be applicable even if the credit card is utilized as medium for payment in association with other person.
15. The cardmember undertakes and declares that if at any time it is discovered that there are any amounts due to the Bank against any credit facility, then the Bank shall have the absolute right to hold the No Objection Certificate (NOC) against any/all such facilities, without any prior notice.
16. I authorise IDFC FIRST Bank to disclose, from time to time, relevant information relating to my personal details (name, phone number, e-mail ID, address, age, date of birth and other such information), Credit Card(s) details (including any default in payments) to credit bureaus, regulator/s, government and investigation authorities, authorised financial institutions, any parent/subsidiary, Tax authorities, affiliate and associate of IDFC FIRST Bank, and to third parties engaged by IDFC FIRST Bank, for purposes such as marketing of services, fulfillment of card offers/benefits, proper operation of Credit Card accounts and other administrative services. I hereby consent and authorize IDFC FIRST Bank and/or its affiliates and associates and/or third parties engaged by IDFC FIRST Bank to send me information through WhatsApp/SMS/email alerts/post/any other way deemed fit by the Bank or/call me on my registered mobile number for the purposes of operation of the card, send Welcome Kit/monthly statements/marketing information and offers on the card and offering of various products and services of IDFC FIRST Bank through agent(s) and/or any third party(ies) or any of the product(s) of its group companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, co-brand partners.
17. I hereby declare that the details furnished in the application are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief and I undertake to inform IDFC FIRST Bank of any changes therein, immediately. In case any of the information is found to be false or untrue or misleading or misrepresenting, I am aware that I shall be held liable for it.
18. Interest will be earned from the date of FD booking in the system.

I hereby understand & acknowledge that by engaging in the video KYC with the bank representative, I agree to allow IDFC FIRST Bank to capture my personal details (including location) & any other device information, furthermore, permitting usage of all details & recorded information for internal verification, training, and quality monitoring to enhance my account opening journey.
