UPI ATM Launched: Check How To Withdraw Cash From UPI ATM

There’s a new and improved way for ATM withdrawals. Forget debit and credit cards, UPI ATM withdrawals are here to change the game! Let’s decode.

The ‘What’

Hitachi Payment Services, in association with the National Payments Corporation of India has introduced the White Label ATM (WLA). 

Called the Hitachi Money Spot UPI ATM, the WLA can be operated by non-banking companies. It would allow you to make cash withdrawals through UPI applications.

The ‘How’

The withdrawal process is easy and similar to making UPI payments. Just choose the amount, scan the QR code and withdraw. Here’s the process

• Visit any ATM and choose the withdrawal amount
• A QR code will be displayed for the withdrawal
• Open any UPI app on your Smartphone and scan the code

• Enter the UPI PIN on your phone and finish the transaction 
• Once the transaction is completed successfully, the ATM will disburse the amount
