Accept Payments with UPI

Get the UPI App today. It enables you to transact easily & quickly. Simply generate a UPI QR code to accept payments.  Your customers can use the ‘Scan and Pay’ feature on their UPI or BHIM App to make payments to you by just scanning your QR code.

You can also initiate a ‘Collect Payment’ request to your business partners, set a time limit for payments, send reminders and ensure all your collections are done well in time.

How can you generate UPI QR code for your Business?

  • Download IDFC FIRST Bank UPI app from Google Play store
  • Register and link any/all of your existing bank accounts to it
  • Click on the menu icon on the left and select ‘My QR code’
  • Your UPI QR code is instantly generated and is ready for use
  • Download , print and display it at a prominent location in your store to accept payments

 

How to use the ‘Scan and Pay’ feature of the UPI app?

Customers can use any UPI or BHIM App to make payments to you. Request them to follow the below steps:

  • Open the UPI or BHIM app on their mobile and select the ‘Scan and Pay’ feature
  • View your store’s  QR code using their mobile phone’s camera
  • Your payment details are instantly captured and customers can authorize the transaction using their UPI mPIN
  • Payment will get instantly credited to your Bank account
  • Both, you and your customer will receive an instant notification via SMS and on the app, once the transaction is completed

 

How can you initiate a ‘Collect Payment’ Request from your UPI app?

  • Download the IDFC FIRST Bank UPI app from Google Play store
  • Register and link any/all of your existing bank accounts to it
  • Click on the ‘ASK’ tab at the bottom of the screen
  • Enter the Virtual Payments’ Address (VPA) of the payer, followed by the amount and submit the request
  • Once the Payer authorizes the request, money will be instantly credited to you linked Bank account
  • Further you can set a time limit for your payer to authorize your collection request or send reminders through the app to facilitate quick payments
