The Sodexo Premium Pass – Celebrations card is a rupee-denominated magnetic stripe based co-branded prepaid card that is accepted at Merchant outlets that have been enabled for RuPay card acceptance. The card is issued by IDFC FIRST Bank Ltd in partnership with its co-branding partner Sodexo SVC India Ltd. This card is a non-reloadable card, issued by IDFC FIRST Bank Ltd with a 1-year validity.
All Sodexo Premium Pass – Celebrations card is dispatched in inactive mode for security reasons. The card must be activated by the Cardholder before usage. The cardholder can activate the cards either online or using SMS

Send an SMS from your registered mobile number to 9225660070 Message format: CARDACT <12-digit Card Reference Number>
The Card Reference Number is printed on the Welcome Letter that you will receive as part of the card welcome kit. This number is mandatorily required for activating the card; hence make sure that you retain the Welcome Letter until card activation.
If you have lost/ misplace the welcome letter and did not note down the card reference number which is mandatory for card activation all you need to do is visit the Sodexo card activation portal.

There are some charges that are borne by the Client who purchases the Sodexo Premium Pass and there are other charges that are deducted from the available balance on the card as communicated to the Cardholder. The charges deducted from the available balance on the card are communicated to you in the card welcome letter.
The Sodexo Premium Pass is issued by IDFC FIRST Bank on the RuPay platform and can be used at merchant outlets across the country accepting RuPay Cards - including retail stores and online merchants. Please note that Sodexo Premium Pass is usable in India only. International purchases and purchases from International sites are restricted.
The Sodexo Premium Pass can only be used at merchant outlets across the country accepting RuPay Cards - including retail stores and online merchants. These cards are not enabled at any Bank ATM and no cash withdrawal is possible.
The Sodexo Premium Pass – Celebrations card can be loaded only by the Client with any amount up to a maximum INR 10,000.
At the time of loading the Sodexo Premium Pass, the Client will provide basic Cardholder information to Sodexo. However, if the load value on the card exceeds 10,000 the Cardholder will subsequently need to fulfil a KYC registration process. KYC requirement will be communicated to the Cardholder via e-mail or SMS on the registered e-mail ID and mobile number respectively.

Every time you make a purchase, you will receive and email/SMS notification stating the updated card balance. You can also view card balance by logging on to the Cardholder Portal (visit the Sodexo Users section on the Sodexo website www.sodexobenefitsindia.com) or using the mobile app.
The Sodexo Premium Pass is a PIN based card. The PIN needs to be entered on the EDC Terminal at the time of every transaction. To ensure that the card is not misused, do not share the PIN and do not store the Card PIN and the Card together. If you have lost your Card, please block your card at the earliest to avoid misuse of the card.
On loss of the card, please block your card by calling the Client Service or over the Cardholder Portal. The lost Card will be blocked and the available amount less charges would be issued to the Cardholder as a replacement card only after the Cardholder requests for a replacement Card.
Sodexo will trigger a notification to the Cardholder, 30 days and 15 days before expiry of the Card. After card expiry, unless prohibited by applicable law, the Card and any available balance will expire and you can no longer use the Card or access the available balance.

The Meal Pass is a fully digital meal benefit solution. This card comes with a 5-year validity and is accepted at Sodexo-affiliated merchant outlets for the purchase of food and non-alcoholic beverages only.

There are no charges applicable on purchase transactions with the Sodexo Meal Pass.
No charges are levied to use the services of the IDFC First Sodexo Meal Pass to the cardholder. However, additional charges might be levied in case of below circumstances:

You can use your Meal Pass to make payments against home delivery if the merchant you are purchasing from is equipped to support the same.
