Sodexo Premium Pass Celebrations-What is the Sodexo Premium Pass?

The Sodexo Premium Pass – Celebrations card is a rupee-denominated magnetic stripe based co-branded prepaid card that is accepted at Merchant outlets that have been enabled for RuPay card acceptance. The card is issued by IDFC Bank Ltd in partnership with its co-branding partner Sodexo SVC India Ltd. This card is a non-reloadable card, issued by IDFC Bank Ltd with a 1-year validity.

How do I activate my Sodexo Premium Pass – Celebrations card?

All Sodexo Premium Pass – Celebrations card is dispatched in inactive mode for security reasons. The card must be activated by the Cardholder before usage. The cardholder can activate the cards either online or using SMS

To activate your card online

  1. Visit https://activation.sodeoxbrs.com
  2. Enter your registered mobile number or email address
  3. Enter the 12-digit card reference number & the captcha
  4. Click on Get Activation Code
  5. Enter activation code (you will receive the same over email and/or SMS)

To activate your card via SMS

Send an SMS from your registered mobile number to 9225660070 Message format: CARDACT <12-digit Card Reference Number>

Where can I find the Card Reference Number?

The Card Reference Number is printed on the Welcome Letter that you will receive as part of the card welcome kit. This number is mandatorily required for activating the card; hence make sure that you retain the Welcome Letter until card activation.

I have lost the welcome letter and do not know the card reference number. What do I do?

If you have lost/ misplace the welcome letter and did not note down the card reference number which is mandatory for card activation all you need to do is visit the Sodexo card activation portal.

  2. Enter your registered mobile number/ email address
  3. Enter last 4-digits of your 16-digit card number
  4. Enter captcha details and click on ‘Get Card Reference Number’

If the details you have entered are correct, you will receive the card reference number details vis SMS or email on your registered mobile number or email address

What is KYC registration?

RBI guidelines specify capturing and validating consumer information for certain value issued on prepaid cards.

  1. If, the value on the card is less than the *minimum KYC limit prescribed by RBI; minimum consumer information is mandated. This is already provided by your company and the cardholder need not provide any additional information
  2. When, the value on the card is greater than the prescribed limit the Cardholder will need to complete the KYC process

*Note: The current minimum KYC limit prescribed by RBI is INR 10,000 and is subject to change as mandated by RBI

How do I obtain the Sodexo Premium Pass?

The Sodexo Premium Pass is a B2B card that can be obtained by corporate entities only. A corporate looking to obtain Sodexo Premium Pass can get in touch with IDFC Bank or Sodexo, send a sales enquiry to wecare.in@sodexo.com or alternatively visit the Sodexo website www.sodexobenefitsindia.com and submit an order enquiry for the same online.

What are the charges for the Sodexo Premium Pass?

There are some charges that are borne by the Client who purchases the Sodexo Premium Pass and there are other charges that are deducted from the available balance on the card as communicated to the Cardholder. The charges deducted from the available balance on the card are communicated to you in the card welcome letter.

Where can I use the Sodexo Premium Pass?

The Sodexo Premium Pass is issued by IDFC Bank on the RuPay platform and can be used at merchant outlets across the country accepting RuPay Cards - including retail stores and online merchants. Please note that Sodexo Premium Pass is usable in India only. International purchases and purchases from International sites are restricted.

Can I withdraw cash using my Sodexo Premium Pass?

The Sodexo Premium Pass can only be used at merchant outlets across the country accepting RuPay Cards - including retail stores and online merchants. These cards are not enabled at any Bank ATM and no cash withdrawal is possible.

Are there any limits to the amount that can be loaded on the Sodexo Premium Pass?

The Sodexo Premium Pass – Celebrations card can be loaded only by the Client with any amount up to a maximum INR 10,000.

What information does one need to submit at the time of for issuance/loading of card?

At the time of loading the Sodexo Premium Pass, the Client will provide basic Cardholder information to Sodexo. However, if the load value on the card exceeds 10,000 the Cardholder will subsequently need to fulfil a KYC registration process. KYC requirement will be communicated to the Cardholder via e-mail or SMS on the registered e-mail ID and mobile number respectively.

How do I ensure the safety of my Sodexo Premium Pass?

The Sodexo Premium Pass is a PIN based card. The PIN needs to be entered on the EDC Terminal at the time of every transaction. To ensure that the card is not misused, do not share the PIN and do not store the Card PIN and the Card together. If you have lost your Card, please block your card at the earliest to avoid misuse of the card.

What should I do if my Sodexo Premium Pass is lost or stolen?

On loss of the card, please block your card by calling the Client Service or over the Cardholder Portal. The lost Card will be blocked and the available amount less charges would be issued to the Cardholder as a replacement card only after the Cardholder requests for a replacement Card.

What should I do when my Sodexo Premium Pass has expired?

Sodexo will trigger a notification to the Cardholder, 30 days and 15 days before expiry of the Card. After card expiry, unless prohibited by applicable law, the Card and any available balance will expire and you can no longer use the Card or access the available balance.
