Getting started

We let you create a username that you like, and a password instantly

  • Login to IDFC FIRST Bank website and choose login (the lock symbol in the upper right hand corner)
  • Select “Personal and Business Banking“
  • Click on “Create Your User Name”
  • Enter Customer ID and click on submit
  • Enter Account Number or Debit Card Number
  • Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number
  • Select your User Name and create your own Internet Banking Password and click on “Continue”.
  • Accept the Terms and Conditions by clicking “Create my Username” and you’re all done to use all our services offered on Internet Banking.


Note:

User ID has to be between 6- 10 characters which can be alphanumeric in nature.

Password should be between 6-15 characters and once can use a combination of characters, alphabets, numbers to create one. Alphabets and numbers are compulsory.

Retrieving the Username

Steps to retrieve User ID are

  1. Click on Forgot Username
  2. Enter Customer ID and click on submit
  3. Enter Account Number or Debit Card Number and relevant details
  4. Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number
  5. We will send it to you on your Email, on your Mobile & show it on thescreen too!!!

Retrieving your Internet Banking Password

You can set a new password in few simple steps

  1. Click on Forgot Password
  2. Enter the User ID
  3. Enter the OTP received and create your new password.

  5. Bill Payments & Recharge
    1. Add Biller : Register your bill for presentment & payment
    2. View/Pay Bills : View & Pay all your bills
    3. Delete Biller : Delete any bills that you don’t want to pay anymore
    4. QuickPay : Bill payment without registration
    5. Recharge your prepaid mobile & DTH account
    6. Transaction History : View bill payments done in the past six months in Transaction History
  6. Transfer Funds
    1. To your own IDFC FIRST Bank Accounts
    2. To other IDFC FIRST Bank Accounts / Non IDFC FIRST Bank Accounts
    3. You can even make Credit Card payments using our Funds transfer service
  7. Short & Sweet loan accounts
    All customers that own a Short & Sweet home loan & a Current / Savings account can now view their loan account summary & carry out all the transactions currently offered on Internet Banking using their Short & Sweet loan account.

Funds Transfer through NEFT

We understand your need to move money between accounts, whether within IDFC FIRST Bank or to other banks. We bring you a range of funds transfer options to help you manage your money better.

NEFT – National Electronic Funds Transfer

With NEFT, you can transfer money to any Third Party (Beneficiary) holding an account with a bank other than IDFC FIRST Bank, if the beneficiary's bank participates in RBI’s National Electronic Funds Transfer program (RBI - NEFT). These funds transfers are executed using Reserve Bank of India's InterBank Transfer Scheme.

Please note: Your account will be debited immediately online. Requests received between 8:00AM to 6:50PM (except Sundays and Bank holidays), will be sent by IDFC FIRST Bank to RBI in the respective clearing cycles. The time taken to credit the Beneficiary's account will be dependent on the time taken by the Beneficiary's Bank to process the payment.

    RTGS – Real Time Gross Settlement System

    RTGS – Real Time Gross Settlement System

    With RTGS, you can transfer money instantly to any Third Party (Beneficiary) holding an account with a bank other than IDFC FIRST Bank, if the beneficiary's bank participates in RBI Real Time Gross Settlement (RBI - RTGS). These funds transfers are executed using Reserve Bank of India's InterBank Transfer Scheme. The minimum amount that can be transfer via this channel is Rs. 2 lakh.

    Please note:

    For requests received on any RTGS between 7.00 AM to 5.55 PM (except Sundays and Bank holidays) , your account will be debited online and request will be sent by IDFC FIRST Bank to RBI on the same day.

    IMPS - Immediate Payment System

    IMPS - Immediate Payment System

    Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) enables you to instantly transfer funds online from your bank account to other bank accounts. This service is available 24x7 through internet Banking and Mobile Banking. This service is brought to you by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) in collaboration with member banks.

    IMPS fund transfer can be done using the receiver’s account number and IFSC.
