How do I apply for a job?

To apply for a particular job, visit IDFC FIRST Bank’s career website and check the open positions under our job listing section. You can simply click here www.idfcfirstbank.com/careers/ to search for jobs suitable to you.

How do I find out what vacancies are available that will be suitable for me?

On visiting IDFC FIRST Bank careers page, kindly use the search bar to search for jobs in your preferred locations and roles you may be keen on.

How long will it take after I submit my application to receive a response?

We review the profiles of all job applicants. However, it is not humanly possible to respond to every applicant. Once you have submitted your application for a job, we may take upto one week to respond to you if we identify that your profile has been found suitable for the role applied.

Do you have an email address where I can send my CV/ resume?

No. We recommend you apply for the jobs through the career website only.

How can I track my application/ check status of my application?

You can track your application/ status by logging into your profile and checking the status of your application.

Can I apply for more than one job at a time?

Yes, you can apply for more than one job at a time. However, we recommend you restrict your application to three jobs most suited to you. Do create your profile on our career website for a better visibility.

How do I create my profile and update my information and my resume?

b) Do remember your email ID and password.

c) Search for suitable jobs and apply by uploading your resume. Once you complete your application process, you may apply to a maximum of three jobs of your choice.

d) You can log out once completed.

e) You may log on again anytime later to track and check the status of your application.

I forgot my username, how do I reset it?

Your username is your email address. You cannot retrieve your username if you do not remember your email address used at the time of registration.

I forgot the password to my account, how do I reset my password?

If you have forgotten your password, you can click on ‘Forgot Password'. A new password will be auto-generated and sent to your registered email. Once you open your email, you will get the newly-generated password. You can use this to login to your IDFC FIRST Bank username and you may be able to change it to a password of your choice, if required, by clicking on the reset password button.

Can I upload my details using my LinkedIn account?

Yes, while applying, you are given a choice to upload your resume / profile from LinkedIn.

Can I create an account using my phone?

You can apply from a phone, but you cannot use the number as your username. The username must be your personal email ID.

Is my personal data safe when I apply online?

Should I include extra-curricular and voluntary work in my resume?

We recommend you to keep only employment related information on resume. You may wish to briefly highlight your extra-curricular and voluntary work on your resume and elaborate this during your interviews.

I have received distrustful communications from IDFC FIRST Bank. What should I do? / What do I do if I suspect a fraudulent source is offering me a job at IDFC FIRST Bank?

IDFC FIRST Bank will never ask for any kind of financial payment in exchange for a job interview or an offer. Please note that any requests of such nature are fraudulent and should not be pursued. What is your interview process?

Basis the resume shortlisting done by the HR Talent Acquisition team, you shall be assigned an assessment to be completed before the interview, which usually has 2 rounds. In case of selection, HR – TA team shall engage further with the applicant.

What should I expect during the recruitment process?

The interview process can often include multiple interviews by Business and HR personnel. You should be ready to share examples and experience to help us get a sense of who you are beyond your resume. You will also be invited to complete an assessment test.

How many years of experience do I need to qualify to apply?

I saw an ad for a position I am interested in, but I can’t find it on career page. How can I apply?

If you are unable to find the particular job on our career page it’s because the position is filled, and hence, removed from the platform. We suggest you go to job listings on our Career Page to view and evaluate other relevant openings.

When I search for a specific job number, I get the message “There are currently no open positions matching [that number].” What should I do?

This means position is filled, and hence, removed from the list of Active vacancies. We suggest you go to career page job listing to check for other relevant openings.

Do I need to resubmit my information every time I apply for another job?

No, submitting your information on the application form is a one-time activity where you create your profile on our career website. Once your profile is created you can apply simply by logging into your profile and applying for the position.

While searching jobs, I saw a job that would be good for a friend and/or family member. Can I send information on this job to him or her?

You may forward the job code/ link to the concerned person to enable them to apply directly for that position. Please note that this will not be considered as a part of Employee Referral Program. Internal employees may share suitable candidates using the referral tool on our intranet.

I was referred by an employee of IDFC FIRST Bank. What will happen next?

Once the recruiter receives your application, he/she will review the same against the referred opening.

What is the probation period for newly joined employees?

There is no probation period in IDFC FIRST Bank. Every employee can enjoy all the benefits provided and is a confirmed employee from day one of joining.

What is the list of documents required for the candidate creation process?

Only your resume is required when applying to a job as a candidate on our Career Website.

What is the offer process after successful completion of my personal interviews?

Our HR-Talent Acquisition Team shall update the candidate with respect to his/her selection with the bank. The team shall brief the candidate about the role, grade, and other details. Mandatory documents like KYC, Salary slips, increment & performance rating letters etc., shall be collected by the team. Basis this, the fitment will be made on salary / grade etc., All offers of employment are subject to clearance of all checks including CIBIL, references, previous employment, and other background verifications.

Is there a check on CIBIL before releasing offer?

Yes, the CIBIL check is a mandatory process. Your joining is subject to CIBIL clearance. You must submit a copy of your Pan Card to allow for a CIBIL check to be conducted, prior to offer release.

Do employees have to work on Saturdays at IDFC First Bank?

As per RBI guidelines, IDFC First Bank works on all Saturdays except the 2nd and 4th Saturdays that are official holidays.

Will I be eligible for rating/increment if I join after 1st October?

If you join between 1st October to 31st December, you shall be eligible for prorated bonus basis performance. However, as per bank policy, you shall not be eligible for an increment. In case you join between 1st January to 31st March, you shall not be eligible for bonus or increment.

What are the official working days?

IDFC FIRST Bank is open for six days a week.
However, we are closed on the below days:
- Every second and fourth Saturday of each month
- Every Sunday
- Bank Holidays

Which branch location / department / product could I be posted in?

As a practice, we provide the branch location we have discussed with you at the time of employment, but reserve the option to relocate you elsewhere / at any time based on business needs.

Starting from my date of joining, when would I become eligible to apply for a transfer to another role, product or department?

You become eligible to apply for a change only after the “successful” completion of 18-months at IDFC FIRST Bank.

How long will my probation period last?

Do you offer internships?

Yes, IDFC FIRST Bank offers internships through our Campus Internship process only. If interested you can ask your college coordinator to contact our Campus Relations team

How long do internships last?

The duration of internships are generally 2 months or more. They are usually decided by the college placement officer, the interning student, and the concerned HR person after consulting business on the estimated time that may be required to successfully complete the internship project.

Does IDFC FIRST Bank have internship programs for students seeking MBA or Advanced Degrees?

IDFC FIRST Bank does offer internships to graduate and post-graduate students at Post-Graduate Campuses'. Request your College Placement Head to coordinate this with our Campus Relations Team.
